CRA/Hoosier Racing Tire Announcement
CRA officials announced today that Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman teams will be required to use the CRA 27.0 tire on the right side for the $2000 to win, 125 lap event on May 8th at Lucas Oil Raceway. Earlier this year officials announced the series would allow the 26.5 on the right side in 2015. The tire performed excellent for a 30 Lap event this past Friday at Lucas Oil Raceway. Officials, racers and Hoosier all agree, however, that they want to error on the side of caution for the special 125 lap race, and have an extra measure of security with the 27.0 tire for that event. The series tire dealer, Motion Motors, will have those tires later this week, and will also have them available at Anderson Speedway this Saturday for racers to pick up in advance if they like.
