Deuser’s Tough Season ContinuesCRA_admin
The Berlin 100 Presented by JEGS.com & Boyne Machine Company for the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour was held Saturday evening at the Berlin Raceway located in Marne, Mich. Deuser, a former JEGS/CRA winner, was looking for his second top-10 finish of the season driving the No. 12 Deuser Electric / Mr. Asphalt Pro Late Model for reigning series champion Dan Leeck. He qualified 12th and began working his way forward from the drop of the green flag. A loose condition halfway through the race caused issues for the Georgetown, Ind., driver. On lap 70, Deuser slowed and brought the car to pit road after losing a fuel pump. He finished 24th.
“It’s a bummer we were unable to finish the race,” Deuser said. “We started weekend pretty fast. Berlin (Raceway) (Mich.) is such a hard place to get ahold of, and I feel like everyone did a good job. We started to lose the handle halfway through the race and just could never recover.”
Deuser’s remaining 2015 schedule, although not yet decided upon, will include several Super and Pro Late Model events, as well as possibly making an ARCA Racing Series Presented by Menards start.
Deuser will continue to drive the No. 12 Dan Leeck Racing Late Model for the remainder of the 2015 season. He is sponsored by Mr. Asphalt and Deuser Electric.
