Team Construction to Sponsor ARCA/CRA Super Series Clean Sweep Award Again in 2016
Salem, Indiana (Tuesday, October 27, 2015): Champion Racing Association Powered by JEGS officials are pleased to announce that Team Construction has agreed to continue its sponsorship of the Team Construction Clean Sweep Award with the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS for the upcoming 2016 race season, the 20th season of competition for the ARCA/CRA Super Series.
During the 2015 season two different drivers won Team Construction Clean Sweep Awards including Brian Campbell who claimed a $400 cash Bonus when he won the series fourth event of the season at Berlin Raceway on May 16th, then claimed a $500 cash Bonus when he won the series 13th event of the season at Columbus Motor Speedway on September 13th. NASCAR Camping World Truck Series racer John Hunter Nemechek, son of former NASCAR competitor Joe Nemechek, won the Team Construction Clean Sweep Award in the series eighth event of the season on July 24th at Lucas Oil Raceway, taking home a $400 cash Bonus.
The Team Construction Clean Sweep Award will consist of a $100 cash bonus if an event’s fast qualifier can also win that same event. If the fast qualifier fails to win, the $100 cash bonus is then rolled over to the next event until an events fast qualifier wins that same event. After a fast qualifier wins, the award starts over again at $100. The Team Construction Clean Sweep Award for the ARCA/CRA Super Series 200 lap event with SpeedFest 2016 at Crisp Motorsports Park, home of Watermelon Capital Speedway on Sunday, January 31st will be worth $300, with the $200 carry over from the 2015 season.
