KBR Development Chooses VRD As Its Preferred Chassis Manufacturer
Holland, MI (January 22,2016) After numerous meetings with a variety of the leading Chassis Manufacturers in the country, KBR Development has decided to partner with the hometown local business of Vandoorn Racing Development (VRD) as their preferred chassis builder. In just a few short years John & Butch Vandoorn, owners of VRD, have developed themselves into one of the top chassis manufacturers in the industry which is why KBR has chosen to work with them.
“It seemed like we were meeting with someone different or following up with one of them everyday for about about the past two weeks trying to figure out who we wanted to work with. Finally Mike Bursley and I sat down, laid everything out on the table, and said I this is who we need to be with.” stated Zach Dunson, co-owner of KBR Development. “With all the new technology out there and all the resources these guys have along with the determination and direction they are going with the business, it would of been hard for us to go else where;” added Dunson.
Even though VRD is a fairly new business to the industry, the owners are far from being rookies. John is a 3 time ARCA/CRA champion with wins all over the country and is recognized as one of the best asphalt late model drivers out there. Butch, is a 3 time Championship winning crew chief, who definitely knows his way around race cars and how to get them into victory lane.
“When we heard Mike and Zach were going to start this development program we wanted to make sure we did all we could to try and work with them. We have first hand seen there work ethic and will give it 110%. The goals that they have for this program and the direction they are going with it is a lot of the reason we wanted to reach out to them, and we at VRD are extremely happy they chose to work with us. They have the right mind set, they know how to win, they want to win and any drivers that they end up working with are going to be very fortunate;” Butch Vandoorn stated.
