Battle at Berlin 251 to Be Broadcast Live on Pay-Per-View
One of the nation’s premier Super Late Model races, the Battle at Belin 251, will take the Short Track Racing world by storm next Monday, June 13 at Berlin Raceway (MI). Race fans unable to make the trip to Berlin, Michigan to watch the prestigious event will be able to watch all of the action from the comfort of their own home via a live pay-per-view broadcast.
Berlin Raceway officials announced Wednesday that the race will be available to watch via a live streaming service produced by Berlin Raceway TV through Speed51.com. The live broadcast of Monday’s racing action will be available for the price of $24.99.

A stout list of Super Late Model competitors from the Midwest region and beyond will make their way to the 7/16-mile oval with hopes of claiming the $15,000 top prize. Defending Battle at Berlin 251 winner and NASCAR XFINITY Series driver Erik Jones tops an impressive entry list.
Current ARCA/CRA Super Series point leader Cody Coughlin, Super Late Model veteran Bubba Pollard and young stars Zane Smith and Dalton Sargeant have already filed entries for the event. They will be joined by a contingent of local stars including Grant Quinlan, Brian Campbell and two-time Battle at Berlin 251 winner John VanDoorn.
The live pay-per-view broadcast of the event will begin when pre-race ceremonies for the Battle at Berlin 251 get underway at 6:00 p.m. ET on Monday night. The 251-lap race is scheduled to begin at approximately 6:30 p.m.
There will be two breaks during the racing action, one at lap 100 and another at lap 200. During the lap 100 break, the leader will draw for an invert of a five to a possible 10-car invert for the restart on lap 101. At the lap 200 break, the top five in the running order will redraw for the line-up for the restart on lap 201 for the final 51 laps of the event.
These changes to the formatting are sure to increase the excitement for those at the track, as well as those watching from home.
