Champion Racing Association Well Represented at 49th Annual Snowball Derby Events
Salem, IN (November 28, 2016) – Champion Racing Association Powered by JEGS will be well represented at this year’s 49th Annual Snowball Derby events at Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Florida this weekend. To date the event has 70 Super Late Model entries on hand for the 49th Annual Snowball Derby that will take place on Sunday afternoon and 64 Pro Late Model entries to date for the Allen Turner Hyundai Snowflake 100 that will take place Saturday evening.
Of the 130 plus entries for those two prestigious events, 48 of those drivers participated in either an ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS or a JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance event during the 2016 season. Included in the entries for the Snowball Derby is 2016 ARCA/CRA Super Series points’ runner up and Senneker Performance Rookie of the Year 2016 Dalton Armstrong, a two time series winner in 2016. Other 2016 ARCA/CRA Super Series winners entered are Bubba Pollard, who won the ARCA/CRA Super Series SpeedFest 2016 event and Donnie Wilson, who won the ARCA/CRA Super Series and Southern Super Series combo event at Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville. Former series winners John Hunter Nemechek, Christopher Bell, Steve Dorer, Brandon Oakley, Boris Jurkovic, Grant Enfinger, Jeff Choquette, Ty Majeski and Kenzie Ruston are entered for the Snowball Derby, as is three time JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour winner Chad Finley.
Winchester 400 winner Travis Braden is entered to compete in the Allen Turner Hyundai Snowflake 100 event, the two time ARCA/CRA Super Series Champion will have his car owner Bill Burba also racing in a team car in that event. Other 2016 JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour winners entered for the Allen Turner Hyundai Snowflake 100 are John Hunter Nemechek, who won two series events in 2016, including the SpeedFest series event for the third year in a row and the Masters of the Pros 144 for the second year in a row and Brandon Oakley. Former series winners Bubba Pollard, Dan Leeck, Josh Nelms, Steve Dorer and Justin South are also entered for that event along with former CRA Late Model Sportsman event winner Scotty Tomasik and 2011 ARCA/CRA Super Series Champion Derrick Griffin.
