Two Time CRA Champion & Winchester 400 Winner set to Graduate from WVUScott Menlen
West Virginia University Story – Wheeling, WV, (December 16, 2016): As one important chapter as a student comes to an end, the next, as an alumnus and proud representative of WVU and West Virginia “behind the wheel,” is set to begin with great potential.
“I, Travis Braden, am proud to announce that my partnership with West Virginia University will continue into my professional career as a race car driver. I am excited to see what new heights the connection with my alma mater and home state will be able to reach as this new chapter begins and our focus shifts to an expansion of outreach and awareness for both brands.”
The continued use of this platform as a “catapult” for exposure will provide Travis Braden Racing, LLC. and its wealth of partners and sponsors in the West Virginia market with the ability to expand activation opportunities in a way that can increase the value of associating your brands with the young professional athletic career of a local up-and-coming “figure.” Just as advertisers like Nationwide Insurance, who uses Dale Earnhardt Jr. to activate their NASCAR sponsorship in a national advertising scheme, we will encourage similar use of Travis’s image in local and regional markets as his brand continues to grow.
To “hit the ground running,” Travis will continue to compete in the ARCA racing series at select, LIVE televised events on Fox Sports 1, which has proven to be a huge opportunity to engage with his loyal followers, and steal the eyes of those who may not have been engaged previously. A potential schedule could include events at historic venues like DAYTONA International Speedway and/or TALLADEGA Superspeedway, which are the two largest motorsports events in the world each year. It is important to distinguish between the types of activation that can be employed on both local and national levels for such events. This will be the basis for a future “jump” into NASCAR.
