Youngster Hocevar Ready to Tackle the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour
KBR Development Story – Holland, MI (Dec 1, 2016): At just the young age of 13, Carson Hocevar has always looked for his next challenge. The young talent has had a great deal of success in just about everything he has buckled into. Hocevar is not only is the winningest driver in USAC Quarter Midget History, but he also became the youngest driver in history to win a Super Late Model feature at Berlin Raceway in just his 4th career start in the superior division.
“We really cant begin to explain how excited we are to be working with Carson again in 2017;” KBR co-owner Mike Bursley stated. “The way he has progressed and the accomplishments he has had over the past year are nothing to be shy of. This kid really wants to get to the next level and isn’t afraid to go toe to toe with the best in the industry.”
Carson was able to get his feet wet in the Jegs All Star Series in 2016, competing at 4 different events while racking up 3 top 5 finishes along with a track record in just 4 starts in the midwest sanctioned series. Now Hocevar is ready to tackle his next challenge in competing for Rookie of the Year in the Jegs All Star Series in 2017.
“Im really looking forward to traveling and competing against different racers each week in the Jegs Series. Our goal this year is to be competitive and hopefully win some races as well as the Rookie of the Year honors.” Hocevar added; “Im just excited and cant wait to get back in the seat after the first of the year.”
Hocevar’s will not be sitting back this winter waiting for the first Jegs race to kick off in April, his season will start in January when the team makes a trip to Georgia for Speedfest in preparation to participate at Watermelon Capitol Speedway in a Pro Late Model race January 28-29th.
