Team Construction Clean Sweep Award up to $600 for Redbud 400 Saturday
Salem, IN (June 23, 2017) – The Team Construction Clean Sweep Award is up to $600 for this Saturday’s ARCA/CRA Super Series Presented by JEGS, Parallax Power Supply Redbud 400 Presented by Mitch Smith Auto Service and Perfecto. Past CRA winners of the prestigious Redbud race include Dalton Armstrong in 2016, Erik Jones in 2015, Daniel Hemric in 2014, Johnny Van Doorn in 2013, Ross Kenseth in 2012, Steve Dorer in 2011, Scott Hantz in 2010 and Kyle Busch in 2009.
The $600 bonus for Saturday includes $200 carried over from the series Short Track U.S. Nationals event at Bristol Motor Speedway on May 21st and $200 carried over from the Summit City 100 at Baer Field Motorsports Park on June 10th.
Johnny VanDoorn collected the $1000 Team Construction Clean Sweep Award at the series event at Anderson Speedway on May 7th. That was the first time the award had been collected since Cody Coughlin collected a $1,200 bonus at Winchester Speedway on Labor Day Weekend last season.
The Team Construction Clean Sweep Award consists of a $200 cash bonus if an event’s EDCO Welding Fast Qualifier can also win that same event. If the fast qualifier fails to win, the $200 cash bonus is then rolled over to the next event until an events fast qualifier wins that same event. After a fast qualifier wins, the award starts over again at $200.
