Team Construction Clean Sweep Award up to $1000 for Kil-Kare Raceway Sunday
Salem, IN (July 28, 2017) – The Team Construction Clean Sweep Award is up to $1000 for this Sunday’s ARCA/CRA Super Series Presented by JEGS, Rapid Fire Pizza 125 Presented by Hot Head Burritos at Kil-Kare Raceway in Xenia, Ohio, just outside of Dayton. The tricky oval track at Kil-Kare Raceway was reopened this season by Gem City Auto Racing after being closed for the 2015 and 2016 seasons and has been racing special events so far this season.
The $1000 bonus for Sunday includes $200 carried over from each of the series last four events, including last Friday’s Circle City 100 at Lucas Oil Raceway, were EDCO Welding Fast Qualifier Dalton Armstrong’s day ended on lap six with mechanical issues.
Johnny VanDoorn collected a $1000 Team Construction Clean Sweep Award at the series third event of the season at Anderson Speedway on May 7th. That was the first time the award had been collected since Cody Coughlin collected a $1,200 bonus at Winchester Speedway on Labor Day Weekend last season.
The Team Construction Clean Sweep Award consists of a $200 cash bonus if an event’s EDCO Welding Fast Qualifier can also win that same event. If the fast qualifier fails to win, the $200 cash bonus is then rolled over to the next event until an events fast qualifier wins that same event. After a fast qualifier wins, the award starts over again at $200.
