Zachary Tinkle Combines Two of His First Loves for his Last Race of the Season: Winchester Speedway and Pizza King Pizza
Special from Zachary Tinkle Racing – It is with great excitement that Tinkle Family Racing Announces that Zachary Tinkle has teamed up with Pizza King to bring the delectable pizza brand to Winchester Speedway and encourage fans and teams to Ring the King! There are two convenient Pizza King locations less than ten minutes from the track. With many fans and teams camping out at the track, it’s a fantastic choice for a meal.
Tinkle Family Racing will be handing out goody bags at the track to fans. The bags will include the hero cards, decals, and bottles of bubbles that they usually do, but will have extra goodies including pins and coupons from Pizza King.
Two of Zachary Tinkle’s earliest memories are of watching racing at Winchester Speedway – the first track where he saw a live race- and of eating Pizza King pizza when he lived in Wayne County, Indiana as a child. On Friday, Zachary will make some rounds in the pits with samples of the “Good to the Very Edge!” Pizza King pizza for teams to taste and hand out coupons.
Zachary commented, “I want people to experience the thrill of racing and the deliciousness of Pizza King pizza – two things I love. Whenever we have a race in northeastern Indiana, we map out the closest Pizza King. When we go to Anderson Speedway, Mt. Lawn Speedway, or Winchester Speedway, we order Pizza King for the team. They even ask ahead of time if we’re going to have it and other teams in the pits stop by to get a piece.”
Winchester 400 weekend is a three-day racing event Friday thru Sunday with on-track action each day. It attracts fans and teams from across the nation including top-level NASCAR® racers. There are several races on Friday and Saturday, including the late model sportsman races each of those days that Zachary Tinkle will participate in.
“When Zachary approached us about the three-day event at Winchester Speedway leading up to the Winchester 400, we thought it was a great opportunity for fans and teams to experience one of the most iconic Indiana tastes- Pizza King pizza. We’re looking forward to having this up-and-coming driver promote our brand,” said Austin Prather, Assistant Director of Marketing for Pizza King.
Pizza King is celebrating 60 years of quality Good to the Very Edge pizza served in the northeast region of Indiana.

Zachary Tinkle was the 2017 Central States Region (CSR) Super Cups and 2016 Rockford Speedway Wild Wednesday Super Cup Champion. Tinkle was the 2015 Illinois Super Cup State Champion for the Short Track Auto Racing Series (STARS) and 2015 Rockford Speedway National Short Track Champion for Super Cups. Rockford Speedway awarded Tinkle the “Lead, Follow, or Get Out Of My Way” award for his 2015 season. He was named 2015 Most Improved Driver and 2014 Rookie of the Year for CSR.
