Zachary Tinkle Announces 2019 Season Plans
December 12, 2018 – Tinkle Family Racing is excited to announce plans for Zachary Tinkle for the 2019 season. The year will be full of new beginnings for Tinkle as he will have an entirely different crew and new race car. For 2019, TfR has formed its own team for Zachary. This includes Danny Trent as crew chief and Brandon Grant as his spotter. The team is enthusiastic to take delivery of a brand new race car that is in the process of being built by VanDoorn Racing Development.
Tinkle will be racing in the Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman series for the full season traveling to multiple tracks in the state of Indiana including Anderson Speedway, Mt. Lawn, Lucas Oil Raceway, Baer Field Motorsports Park, and Winchester Speedway and additional races at Anderson Speedway as schedules allow. Finishing fifth in championship points in the 2018 season, Tinkle is excited to compete for the championship in 2019.
When the 2018 season ended, TfR mapped out what they felt would be an ideal team situation for Zachary’s development as a late model driver, started making phone calls, and are pleased with where the path has led them for the 2019 race season.
Zachary Tinkle commented, “We met Danny and Brandon at practice before the first 2018 race at Mt. Lawn. Both were eager to help. You could just tell they were ‘good people’ and we kept up with each other during the season. When we got in touch about 2019, we were really excited when we found out Danny was interested in being a crew chief and Brandon could fit us into his spotting schedule. We thought it sounded like a great fit. After meeting Butch VanDoorn and talking about a new car, I feel we will now have a car that will match my driving abilities on the race track since I feel like I was outdriving the capabilities of the ten-year-old car I was in last year.”
As final race schedules become available, Tinkle’s race plans will be updated on his website: www.ZacharyTinkle.com.
