Clyde Moody to be Tire Distributor for ARCA/CRA Super Series and JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour in 2019

Salem, IN (January 8, 2019) – Champion Racing Association Powered by JEGS officials have been notified by Hoosier Tire Midwest that Clyde Moody will continue to be the Hoosier Racing Tire Distributor for the ARCA/CRA Super Series Northern events again in 2019 and Moody will now become the Hoosier Racing Tire Distributor for the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Northern events beginning with the 2019 season.

Great Lakes Tire had been the Tire Distributor for the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour since the series started in 2011, but owner Bob Varney has decided to focus more of his time to his sons, Brandon and Evan, racing careers.

“This was a tough decision, I really enjoyed working with CRA and all the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour teams the past eight years,” remarked Varney. “Last year I really couldn’t focus the time I needed to on my two sons racing, so I’ve decided to step away from the racing tire distribution business for now, to try and give my son’s more of my time. Don’t worry, you’ll still see me at a lot of the CRA events in 2019!”

Both the ARCA/CRA Super Series and JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour will continue to utilize the Hoosier F45’s on the left side and Hoosier F50’s on the right side for all the point events in 2019, except at Bristol Motor Speedway, were they will utilize the Hoosier F56* on the right side and the Hoosier F-55 on the left side.
