Detailed Schedule Released for CRA SpeedFest 2019
Special from Speed51.com – Officials from the Champion Racing Association (CRA) have released a detailed schedule for SpeedFest 2019 at Crisp Motorsports park in Cordele, Georgia. The two-day event on Friday, January 25 and Saturday, January 26 will feature Super Late Model, Pro Late Models, Wheelman Sportsman, Southern Pro Trucks, Legends and Bandoleros.
In 2018, when Mother Nature impacted the event, SpeedFest was contested as a two-day event for the first time. Traditionally, the event had always been a three-day event with practice on Friday, qualifying on Saturday and racing on Sunday.
In 2019, the event will once again be a two-day affair after teams and officials collectively decided that the two-day format worked extremely well. Practice and qualifying for Late Model teams will be held on Friday before their feature races on Saturday. The Wheelman Sportsman and Southern Pro Trucks will both be in competition for feature races Friday night.
