Weather Forces Cancellation of CRA Cabin Fever Championships at Lucas Oil Raceway
Salem, IN (March 27, 2019) – Champion Racing Association Powered by JEGS officials announced today that the inclement forecast for this weekend has forced the cancellation of the events for this weekend’s CRA Cabin Fever Championships event at Lucas Oil Raceway. The amount of rain expected leading up to and part of the weekend and the near freezing wind chill temperatures expected on Sunday led officials to the decision. There will not be a reschedule date for this event
“It’s really unfortunate,” noted CRA Series Director Glenn Luckett. “We were getting great feedback from fans and racers going into this season opening event….until the forecast came out. The weather conditions won’t make it possible for this to be a successful event for everyone involved. We wanted to give the traveling teams advance notice so they could cancel their rooms at no charge and allow everyone to make alternate plans for the weekend.”
The season opener for the Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman and Van Hoy Oil CRA Street Stocks will now be on Saturday, April 13th at Anderson Speedway.
