Runyon Leads Cometic Gasket Hardcharger Standings Heading to Toledo Speedway
Salem, IN (September 19, 2019) – 2017 ARCA/CRA Super Series Champion Logan Runyon is leading the 2019 Cometic Gasket Hardcharger standings after ten ARCA/CRA Super Series point events so far this season. Runyon has now gained a total of 35 positions so far this season. Runyon gained his most positions at the August 7th event at Kalamazoo Speedway, were he had problems during his qualifying run that resulted in a 20th place starting position, but Runyon was able to drive through the field and get a fifth place finish, gaining 15 positions and earning that event’s Progressive Racing Engines Hardcharger Award, as well as a Hoosier Racing Tire Performance Award.
Michael Simko is in second place in the Cometic Gasket Hardcharger standings with 16 gained positions this season. 2019 Senneker Performance Rookie of the Year Jack Dossey III is third in the standings with 14 gained positions. Kyle Crump is in fourth place with 10 gained positions. Hayden Sprague is in fifth place with nine gained positions. The series next event will be the Central Transport Glass City 200 at Toledo Speedway Saturday night, race three of the Chase for the Championship.
