CRA to Manage Tech and On Track Competition at 54th Annual World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing
New Smyrna Beach, FL (December 5, 2019) – New Smyrna Speedway General Manager Rusty Marcus and New Smyrna Speedway owners Robert and Jane Hart have announced that Champion Racing Association has been hired to manage Tech Procedures and the on-track competition for the 54th Annual World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing. CRA Chief Technical Inspector Eddie Chew will oversee all the technical aspects of the World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing with a crew of CRA and New Smyrna Speedway officials, except for the Tour Type Modifieds. CRA’s Glenn Luckett will be the Race Director for the World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing and will work with the New Smyrna Speedway staff to help with all the on-track competition during the nine nights of racing.

The 54th Annual World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing is set to begin on February 7th and will feature nine nights of racing through February 15th, featuring Super Late Models, Pro Late Models, Tour Type Modifieds, Florida Modifieds, Pro Trucks, Sportsman, Super Stocks, Mod Mini’s, Bombers and the ARCA Menards East Series on Monday, February 10th. The World Series is the only Asphalt event of its kind in the United States drawing the best talent from all over the country and Canada to compete for over $300,000 in purses during the nine days.
