CRA Releases Entry Form for JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour 2020 Opener at Flat Rock Speedway
Salem, IN (March 20, 2020) – Champion Racing Association Powered by JEGS officials have released the entry form for the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance 100 lap 2020 season points opener, which will be part of the Motor City 200 promoted by Motor City Racing Promotions at Flat Rock Speedway on Saturday, April 25th. This will be the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour first ever appearance at the historic quarter mile, located in southeast, Michigan. The series was scheduled to open the 2019 season at Flat Rock, but that event was postponed because of weather, then eventually cancelled later in the season also because of weather.
2020 will be the 10th season of competition for the Crate Late Model Series, whose last nine point champions include Erik Jones in 2011, Daniel Hemric in 2012, Cody Coughlin in 2013 and in 2016, Dan Leeck in 2014 and 2019, Car Owner Champion Bill Burba and Driver Champion Dalton Armstrong in 2015 and Jack Dossey III in 2017 and 2018.
There will be an open practice on Friday, April 24th at Flat Rock Speedway for all the Flat Rock regular divisions, plus the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour, Modifieds and Victory Custom Trailers CRA Junior Late Models, who will all have a combined 200 laps of feature action on Saturday. Pits open at 3pm with rotating practice for all divisions going from 5pm until 9pm.
On Saturday, pits will open at 11am. Practice for all three divisions is set to begin at 1:30pm. Qualifying for the for all three divisions will begin at 4:15pm. Racing action will begin at 6pm with the Victory Custom Trailers CRA Junior Late Models 8 lap heat races, followed by any last chance races needed for the Modifieds or JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour. The 200 laps of feature action will start with the season opening 25 lap feature for the Victory Custom Trailers CRA Junior Late Models, followed by the 75 lap Modified feature and then the 100 lap JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour feature, which will cap the evening of great racing action. Sunday, April 26th is the rain date if needed.
