Find News & Info on New Winchester Speedway Website
As race fans begin to seek information about the 49th Annual Winchester 400, they will be greeted by a brand-new Winchester Speedway website. The new website for the historic short track will make it easier for race fans to find the news and information they’re looking for before visiting the facility.
“Winchester is of the most historic racing venues in the country and we don’t what to lose that feel,” said Winchester Speedway Promoter Bob Dillner. “Our efforts with social media and now our new website will help us keep that legendary feel of Charlie Shaw’s racetrack with a new more up-to-date approach. We hope that this combination will allow fans the opportunity to interact with and lead them to pay us a visit to see what Winchester Speedway is all about.”
While additional features are still to come, the current website hosts the latest news about the event, a countdown to the Winchester 400, camping information for the Winchester 400 and much more.
For those out of town, an interactive map is also available on the website for easy directions on how to get to Winchester Speedway. Fans can also contact with Winchester Speedway staff by using the contact form on the website.
Additional features will soon be available on the website, including the option to purchase tickets for major events like the Winchester 400 in advance. Photos, videos, lodging information and event schedules will also be available on winchesterspeedway.com soon.
The 49th Annual Winchester 400 is on as scheduled with three action-packed days of racing at the “Fastest Half Mile” on October 9-11.
Big names from throughout the Super Late Model world are expected to compete in the race, including a few drivers who have never competed on the high banks or haven’t competed at Winchester in quite some time.
Be sure to follow Winchester Speedway’s social media channels for the latest updates on upcoming events. “Like” the Winchester Speedway Facebook page, follow @FastestHalfMile on Twitter, and follow @fastesthalfmile on Instagram.
