PFC Brakes Joins the Winchester 400 Weekend Fun
Special from Speed51.com – It takes the support of many sponsors to make an event such as the 49th Running of the Winchester 400 presented by JEGS a reality. One of those sponsors for this year’s event at Winchester Speedway is a long-time supporter of short track racing, PFC Brakes.
PFC Brakes provides brakes for motorsports, fleets, auto manufacturers and first responders, guaranteed to outlast and outperform the competition. The company has an extensive history and involvement in short track racing and will continue that support at this year’s Winchester 400.
“We’re really excited to be a part of the Winchester 400,” said PFC Brakes Short Track Sales Manager Chris Dilbeck. “Any time we can support short track racing and keep the racers making a little more money and keep things going on the short track side of it, we’re glad to do it.”
A short track racer in his own right, Dilbeck is excited to see his clients compete at the “World’s Fastest Half Mile,” especially following a win for PFC Brakes at Bristol Motor Speedway.
“After being able to win Bristol with Trevor Noles and Donnie Wilson, a track where you’re not using a whole lot of brake, it emphasizes our Zero Drag and our brake package as a whole. It emphasizes being able to go to a big race track like Winchester. Hopefully one of our PFC equipped customers can win the rifle next weekend.”
The Winchester 400 weekend is scheduled for three action-packed days of racing at the “Fastest Half Mile” on October 9-11. A limited number of tickets are available at winchesterspeedway.com/tickets. Sunday’s main event will be the 49th Running of the Winchester 400 presented by JEGS for some of the top Super Late Model drivers in America.
